Friends of the Library
The Friends are a group of volunteers committed to supporting the advancement of the Library and to community service. Without the Friends group, many Library activities would not be possible. They sponsor and fund many library programs: book sales, newsletters, refreshments, holiday Library decoration, candidates night, Bizarre Bazaar, donations to local organizations, jazz festival and grants for publishing books. They also help the local community and school system by offering a scholarship to a Woodridge student and by donating items for fundraisers to local organizations.
