Other Exhibits & Projects
Boston Township Then and Now: A Bicentennial Portrait
Similar in design to the exhibit on Peninsula’s sesquicentennial, this exhibit features iconic photographs from Boston Township’s two-hundred year history. Selected historic images were chosen as the basis for the “then” part of this exhibit. Modern views of these same scenes are placed side-by-side so that viewers can make observations and comparisons. The “now” photographs are primarily the work of our multi-talented Page, Nicole Anderson. Captions below the images guide the viewer by putting the images in their proper context. The Community Scrapbook wall will continue as we encourage donations and additions to this part of the exhibit. Boston Township Then and Now: A Bicentennial Portrait will debut on Memorial Day, May 30, 2011.
